One of our exciting and growing ventures, Insuranceopedia, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SEO Executive with strong focus on SEO content to join their dynamic team.

Insuranceopedia is a leading online insurance marketplace that empowers consumers across the U.S. to make informed decisions about their insurance needs. Our platform offers a wealth of resources and tools to simplify the insurance buying process. 

About The Role

As a Senior SEO Executive at Insuranceopedia, you will be a key player in driving the organic growth of our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to implement our content strategy and ensure that our content is optimised for search engines. 

You will collaborate closely with the CEO, leveraging their extensive experience in the SEO industry, to implement advanced SEO strategies that boost visibility and drive traffic.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-Page Optimization: Optimise existing and new content for search engines, including meta tags, headers, internal linking structures, and keyword placement.
  • Keyword Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities and trends within the insurance industry. Use these insights to guide content creation and optimization.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyse competitor SEO strategies, content performance, and keyword rankings. Use insights to refine and enhance our own SEO strategy.
  • SEO Brief Creation – Create SEO / Content briefs for writers to create new articles with. Review content from writers to ensure briefs were met and instructions were adhered to.
  • Content Collaboration: Partner with content writers to ensure all content is SEO-friendly, informative, and valuable to our target audience.
  • Onsite Optimisation – Optimise onsite elements for search engine visibility (internal linking, website architecture, topical clustering, main navigation etc.)
  • Content Audit & Performance Analysis: Regularly audit existing content. Ensure rankings are maintained & improved upon. Analyse content performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of content SEO.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on key SEO metrics, including organic traffic and keyword rankings. Present findings and actionable insights to the CEO.

Requirements

  • Experience Level: Must have worked in an SEO-specific role for 3+ years
  • Success Stories: Must have demonstrable experience in improving SEO KPIs
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry is desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
  • Content Expertise: Deep understanding of content optimisation, keyword research, and on-page SEO best practices.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all content and SEO efforts are executed to the highest standard.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome SEO challenges and drive continuous improvement.
